Ghana School of Law SRC Provides Financial Aid to 90 Students
Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the Ghana School of Law (GSL) is providing financial support to 90 students, easing their academic journey.
In a bid to alleviate the financial burden on students, the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the Ghana School of Law (GSL) has extended a helping hand by offering financial support to cover school and examination fees for 90 students.
Facing the imminent challenge of raising funds for fees as the academic year progresses, this initiative, known as the Onuado Scholarship Fund, has been warmly received by the student body. Spearheaded by the current SRC President, Gertrude Emefa Donkor, the project stands as a testament to the council's commitment to supporting its members in their academic pursuits.
Gertrude Emefa Donkor, expressing her sentiments on behalf of the SRC, emphasized the importance of ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder any student's educational journey. "We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to remove financial barriers to education and empower ourselves to focus on our studies," she stated.
The announcement of this scholarship fund has been met with gratitude and appreciation from the student community, providing them with a renewed sense of determination and confidence as they prepare for their final exams.
One beneficiary, Justice Owusu, expressed his gratitude, stating, "The scholarship is very timely. Many of us were wondering how we were going to overcome this challenge. For me, this is not just financial assistance; it is a demonstration of the commitment of the SRC Executives to our success and a belief in our potential to achieve greatness."
With the Onuado Scholarship Fund in place, students at the Ghana School of Law can now focus wholeheartedly on their studies, knowing that they have the support of their peers and the SRC behind them.
