The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa and Deputy Majority Leader, Patricia Appiagyei, has called upon voters to uphold the party in power to sustain its beneficial policies aimed at advancing the nation.
During a health walk organized by the Asokwa NPP Constituency, MP Patricia Appiagyei, affectionately known as Mama Pat, emphasized the NPP's commitment to the welfare of Ghanaians and its dedication to policies fostering economic growth. She highlighted initiatives such as teacher and nurse trainee allowances, the one-district-one-factory program, and free senior high school education as evidence of the party's pro-socialist stance despite being center-right.
Encouraging participation in the ongoing voter registration exercise, Appiagyei stressed the importance of citizens' involvement in shaping the country's leadership through the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections slated for December 7.
In alignment with her sentiments, Nana Ama Ampomah, the Ashanti Regional Women's Organiser, praised party members for their commitment to the cause and urged them to engage in grassroots campaigning to promote the NPP's accomplishments during its two terms in office.
Echoing these sentiments, the Asokwa Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Akwannuasah Gyimah, urged unity within the party ranks to ensure a robust campaign leading up to the general elections, affirming the NPP's commendable performance and its rightful claim to continued governance.
