KiDi Advises Youth to Use Contraceptives if Not Ready for Parenthood
Ghanaian musician KiDi advises young people to use contraceptives if they're not ready for parenthood, emphasizing the importance of planning for children. He also shares insights into his personal life and future family goals.
Ghanaian musician Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, has urged young people to adopt the use of contraceptives if they are not prepared for parenthood. Speaking on JoyNews' LTS with Doreen Avio, KiDi emphasized that raising children is a challenging responsibility that requires careful planning.
"My first advice is that wear condoms if you know you are not ready or you are at a stage of your life that you think you can't bring another human being into this world. Use protection whatever the case may be," KiDi advised. He acknowledged that while children are a blessing, it is essential to plan for them to fully enjoy the joy they bring into one's life.
Despite his demanding schedule, KiDi makes it a priority to spend quality time with his son, who currently resides in London. He shared how he strives to balance his career with fatherhood, ensuring that his relationship with his son remains strong. "I make sure anytime I am close to him, we spend much time together, especially on weekends since he will be in school on the weekdays," he added.
Looking to the future, KiDi disclosed his desire to marry and have more children when the time is right. "I definitely want to have more kids when the time is right. I always tell myself I wanted to have three kids so I have two more to go. I also want to get married and start a family but not now. All will be done when the time is right," he stated.
When asked about what he seeks in a partner, KiDi emphasized the importance of inner beauty. "I have met so many women around the world with different kinds of attitudes, characters, shapes, and sizes... I think it has to do with heart to heart. Yes, I want to marry a beautiful lady, but it has to be beauty inside-out," he told Doreen Avio.
Through his candid advice and personal reflections, KiDi continues to inspire young people to make thoughtful decisions about their lives and futures.
