At the Final Design Conference (FiDCon), held on August 3, 2024, at the University of Ghana, industry leaders emphasized the critical role of networking in advancing the creative industry in Ghana. Samuel Allotey, co-founder of Design Junkies, highlighted the importance of connections for designers to access numerous opportunities.

"Networking is key because we realize there are a lot of opportunities, but people just don't know where to get them," Mr. Allotey stated.

The event, organized by thedsgnjunkies, aimed to bring together creative professionals from across the country, offering them a platform to connect, share skills, and gain valuable knowledge. The conference featured workshops on various tools and techniques, including pricing, collaboration, branding, content creation, and thriving as a Ghanaian creative.
