In a generous act of philanthropy, Kwasi Billy, a prominent USA-based movie producer also known in the industry as Billy Richardson, has donated essential medical equipment to the Obomeng Clinic located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The donation, which includes laptops, a walker, surgical gloves, and a CCTV camera, is intended to enhance the operational capabilities of the clinic, benefiting the local community of Obomeng.

Speaking to the media about his motivation, Kwasi Billy explained, "I am a member of the Obomeng Association in Washington DC. Sometimes, organizing a donation drive takes longer than expected, so I decided to purchase the necessary items independently. During my visit to Ghana, especially around Easter, which is a significant occasion for us Kwahu people, I felt compelled to contribute in a meaningful way."

Billy's commitment to aiding the clinic stems from a deep connection to his roots and a desire to improve healthcare services for his community. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining the donated items. "Anytime we donate something, ensure you keep it well for it to last longer so that it will benefit those who need it," he advised.

The donation was formally presented by the Kontihene of Obomeng, Nana Kwasi Dwamena Anim II, on behalf of Obomenghene Nana Opinamang, and received by the head nurse, Florence Mensah. Expressing her gratitude, Ms. Mensah thanked Kwasi Billy for his generosity and assured that the equipment would be put to good use.

Nana Kwasi Dwamena Anim II also took the opportunity to commend the clinic staff for their dedicated service and encouraged others to follow Kwasi Billy's example in supporting the community.

Kwasi Billy is well-known in the movie industry for producing notable films such as "ONE Night IN VEGAS" starring Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo, "REVERSE" featuring Alex Ekubo, Ama K. Abebrese, Kang Quintus, and Chris Attoh, as well as "REJECTED" starring Kang Quintus. Currently, his team is working on the new film "FATHER OF KING," featuring Chris Attoh and Melissa Determine, with shooting taking place in New York and metro Washington DC.
