Ghanaian Musician D Black Clears the Air on Fella Makafui Rumors

Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur D Black has publicly addressed rumors linking him to the marital crisis between rapper Medikal and actress Fella Makafui. The artist, known for his hit "Personal Person," took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to clear his name, asserting that he has not seen Fella Makafui in over two years.

In recent weeks, D Black has faced allegations of contributing to the discord in Medikal and Fella's marriage. These accusations escalated after Medikal hinted at a potential romantic involvement between D Black and Fella. The situation was further fueled by a viral video showing D Black lighting a cigar for Fella Makafui, which sparked widespread speculation.

Responding to the claims, D Black expressed his dismay over Medikal not directly contacting him to clarify the situation. “He knows how to reach me. ???? I de understand, but ino de understand,” he wrote.

D Black explained that the cigar incident was purely innocent. He stated that Fella Makafui had asked for his assistance to light her cigar, which she had bought herself, and he merely obliged. "What pass? She asked me to help light her own cigar she bought. I was holding mine in my hand. Which pass? U ppl jus de talk by heart. lol,” he clarified.

Reiterating his stance, D Black emphasized that he has not interacted with Fella Makafui in nearly two years and thus should not be implicated in the ongoing marital issues. “I don’t have to, when u know uno do nothing and ur mind n heart clean, God go handle the rest. ???????? The person wey ino see sef or talk to am sef almost 2 years this, come cigar launch party for one of my clubs, u want take create story(sic),” he posted.

Meanwhile, Fella Makafui has also denied any romantic involvement with D Black, referring to him as a brother and urging the public to stop spreading baseless rumors. She requested that people respect D Black’s family and refrain from making unfounded allegations.
